quebec played a crucial set with father pheonix (WI) at the house friday night. then followed imense party with all things heavy. thorzar came. saturday, we were supposed to have a ink oppointments and go clothes shopping. predictably we all slept until 4. just in time to venture out to go see the deftones and korn. (i got 4 free, 6th row tickets with executive parking) VIP SUCKA! so the heavy friends showed up right in time to catch deftones, got annilhated 4 free, and had an emabaressingly, nostalgic nu-metal-night. heard dally was sweet, happy birthday greg. hope your party was fun.

so i thought i sensed a neurosis vibe going on while i listen to isis' new full length. then i realized it sounded more like tool. (i say this due to the drawn out, tribal, tom drum sound which both bands are pretty noted for)...but i am really bummed out about this album. although the collaboration w/ aereogramme is pretty rad. i really like the recording. ive heard alot of good things about the new melvins album. thank god for the secret machines man. fuck, what a moody ass group. also cave-in broke up. comrade is playing at cass cafe sunday night. come get wet. its been a while.

i dont enjoy computer/online games or social community websites(to an extent), so when i have the time, i literally sit on dictionary.com and xe.com. tonight im re-learning terms of government and how to convert the american buck into an indian rupee. im really excited about all of this.
i'm glad there arent anymore crazy shows coming up. although i am completly happy with the half-way point of 2006, my wallet is coughing dust. sorry hoes. |

as of christmas, i have an ipod and a line 6 delay modulator. max bought a pitch shifter delay pedal on tour that i know hes going to gove me for my birthday. speaking of, i turn 21 on january 25th. so with whats stated above, i wont need any of you people in my life anymore.
tour was fucking chaotically amazing. pictures and thank you's and possible live recordings of new material soon.

so this weekend shayne, jeremy, max and myself went to chicago to see torche, doomriders, he who corrupts and daughters. all the bands were fucking awesome. i picked up oceanic remix's 1 and 2 and deloused at a few records stores. after the show we go to this tai restaraunt that was a "byob" establishment (im serious). all in all, an awesome day. aside from that, our records are as done as they are going to get. they sound great and should be out in july. whatever.
also, i know i missed michael angelo. rub it in. |

its a shame when a tragedy brings people together or when somone elses mishaps and misfortunes are what it takes to make you a stronger person. clarifying this, that my aunt linda(45 years old) has when diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread to her brain. she has roughly three months to live. due to this unfair event, i havent had a cigarette in two days(i know big deal, right?) and have offically quit smoking. ive realized what a discusting/selfish habit it is. im really relieved and happy that its finally done i just wish i could have done it on my own. |
